Less than three weeks ago, I wrote about my 20th wedding anniversary, summarizing Jim and Elizabeth George’s A Couple After God’s Own Heart. Today, we’re celebrating Jennifer’s birthday and the successful conclusion of North Pointe Elementary PTA’s annual school fair!
This month, we’re focused on the Second Commandment, which tells us not to make another god. The best way to keep the first two commandments (which also includes the first of “No Other Gods”) is to be a leader after God’s own heart.
Nearly a year before writing A Couple After God’s Own Heart with his wife Elizabeth, Jim George penned A Leader After God’s Own Heart. Watching Jennifer every day, that’s what I observe in her and try my best to emulate the life she’s leading.
