The Way of the Shepherd: 7 Ancient Secrets to Managing Productive People

When you consider the ancient shepherd, there was a spirit of teamwork between the shepherd and sheep that isn’t found in most companies or organizations, but we must recognize that doesn’t happen by accident.

Leman breaks it down for us as 7 ancient secrets to managing the productive people.  As he puts it, “The best part is you don’t have to be a company of fifty thousand to see them work. They’ll work in any setting, for anyone who knows and acts upon them.”

Happy Birthday, Mom

Today is Mom’s birthday.  Growing up, she was a “stay-at-home” Mom, which is really better described by Mary Kay Ash’s quote above…a wife, mother, homemaker, chauffer, cook, psychologist, et cetera!

Mom always used Mary Kay cosmetics…and still does.  Above, she is pictured at Christmas with a Mary Kay product.  I appreciated her presence in my formative years, as she provided consistent encouragement and support…and still does.

Thank you, Mom, for always being there.  May this post of Mary Kay Ash’s book on People Management bring special honor to you today.
