Got Intuition?

Law of Intuition

The 8th Law of Leadership (of 21) according to John Maxwell is the Law of Intuition. Leadership intuition often separates the greatest leaders from the merely good ones. Some people are born with great leadership intuition; others have to work hard to develop and hone it.

With a combination of natural ability and learned skills, Out of This World Leaders use intuition to help critical issues jump out, enabling them to get a handle on the intangible factors, understand them, and work with them to accomplish leadership goals.

Everyone has some kind of intuition, especially in his or her area of natural giftedness.

The Law of Navigation

#4 Navigation

This week’s devotions from the John Maxwell Leadership Bible focus on the fourth law (of twenty-one) of leadership—the Law of Navigation.

Leaders who navigate see the whole trip in their minds before they leave the dock. They have a vision for their destination, they understand what it will take to get there, they know who they’ll need on the team to be successful, and they recognize the obstacles long before they appear on the horizon.

Above all, the secret to the Law of Navigation is preparation. When you prepare well, you convey confidence and trust to your team. Learn how Nehemiah exemplifies this leadership law.
