One of my favorite tips for leaders is to “use your most powerful leadership tool.” In fact, that was the topic of my very first post on this blog.
I like to start with a Mirror. Leaders should know themselves and when conflict or misunderstandings arise, they should pull out that Mirror and ask themselves, “What could I have done differently?” and “What do I need to do to improve the relationship or the situation?”
There’s another important use of the Mirror. That is reviewing the past and learning from it. That’s what we’ll do to close out 2025. Let’s look at the memories of the year, which was filled with a series of transitions.
